7 Ways to be more Positive

Too often to speak to ourselves in a negative way without even realizing that we are doing so.  This negative way we approach life will and do taint our outlook and becomes self-fulfilling prophecy.  The law of attraction say our positive or negative thoughts brings positive or negative experiences.



So how can we infuse positivity in our thoughts/lives, and therefore have positive experiences?



Here are six ways you can make a impact on your approach to life and create more positive outcomes.




 Practice Gratitude- One way to shift your thoughts from the negativity, judgmental and disappointed thoughts is to be grateful. Practicing gratefulness will shift your thoughts from the glass half empty mentality to the glass half full view point. Keeping our blessing and wins at the forefront of our mind will shift our perspective and allow us to experience the joys of life.

Smile- Another way to trick you body and mind is to keep smiling.  Have you ever smiled at a strange and they smiled back? How did that make you feel? Even if you don't necessarily have something to smile about having a smile on your face goes a long way to fostering a positive attitude.

Be Kind- It is so easy to get catch-up in our own misery and forget about the people interact with each day. When we give of ourselves to help others  it can provide so much joy and in-turn add positivity to our lives.

Surround yourself with positive people- Do not surround yourself with people who has the crab in a barrel mentality. It is hard to maintain a positive attitude if you are constantly surrounded by negative attitudes. Instead surround yourself with people who will push you to be a better version of yourself.

Find the positive in a negative situation- Changing your view point can go a long way to improving your attitude. When you find yourself in a negative situation, try asking yourself what is good/positive in this situation? What can I learn from this situation? Try to have optimistic thoughts to help have a positive viewpoint.

Learn to take criticism in a positive way- The fear of criticism has held a lot of people back in life. The reason being, is that criticism is often negative and it hurts. However, criticism is not avoidable, therefore you have to seek to handle it in a positive way.  Such as really listening to the criticism, remember it isn't always about you, and taking deep breaths.

Make a positive attitude a choice-  In every person and every situation there is something positive. It might not be easy to find or see, however we have to look.  Going out in the world each day with a positive attitude will make it easier to see the god in people and situation. Having positive thoughts and behavior will you inspire to share your positivity with the world. It might not come easy but practice makes perfect.
